Job Description

THIS ROLE

Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail and great organisational skills so you can prioritise your day to ensure deadlines are met and timelines are adhered to. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a day-to-day front office contact for your designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will be a part of a supportive team, own your tasks, and proactively manage your deliverables and resolve any issues that may arise.

What You Will Do

  • Manage day-to-day relationships for designated Private Equity clients, including overseeing deliverables, agreeing timelines, and maintaining clear communication with CFOs/financial controllers.
  • Review quarterly/annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with reporting standards (e.g., UK GAAP or IFRS) in collaboration with your Manager and Technical & Training teams.
  • Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations, ensuring accuracy in fund movements, proper allocation of proceeds, and clear communication of all cash activities to investors.
  • Mentor and support team members while developing deep expertise in client-specific accounting frameworks (per LPA), ensuring all transactions are handled correctly and efficiently.
  • Drive results by improving processes, balancing stakeholder needs, demonstrating sound decision-making and courage, and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
