Client Accounts Assistant

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Accounts Assistant to join our Client Accounts team. This role focuses primarily on:
- Managing and resolving internal and external accounts queries
- Ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of accounts-related tasks
- Providing support to clients and contributing to the smooth running of the department
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting property managers and branches with queries
- Reviewing landlord and tenant ledgers/accounts
- Understanding and explaining ledger transactions to support queries for landlords
- Setting up/amending charges for rent, commission, and other fees
- Completing required reporting on time
- Supporting the team across other tasks as required

What We Are Looking For
Essential:
- High levels of numerical competency, able to make accurate calculations and explain them to clients in simple terms
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with property managers and branch staff
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent ability to deliver high levels of accuracy, while prioritising workloads under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience within a property or client accounting-related role
- Solutions-focused mindset, identifying and implementing proactive resolutions to benefit clients and prevent escalation
- A good understanding of the residential lettings sector, the role of client accounting, and key required skills
- Previous experience using Reapit
