Client Acquisition Director

Location: Remote (UK-based | US market focus)

A fast-growing influencer marketing agency focused on AI and tech brands is hiring a Client Acquisition Director to ownership and scaling their new business function.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll build the acquisition engine from scratch, drive outbound strategy, and lead deals with some of the most exciting AI companies globally.


The Role

  • Own and build the end-to-end client acquisition strategy across outbound, inbound, and partnerships
  • Lead high-value deals from first touch through to close
  • Develop and optimise outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and modern sales tools
  • Define ICP, messaging, and go-to-market approach for US-based AI clients
  • Manage and scale pipeline performance and conversion
  • Build and lead a small sales team (SDRs / AEs) as the function grows
  • Work closely with internal teams on proposals, pitches, and renewals

Requirements

  • 4+ years in B2B client acquisition (agency experience preferred)
  • Experience targeting or selling into the US market
  • Proven track record closing mid–high value deals
  • Strong outbound and sales systems experience (e.g. Apollo, Clay, Smartlead)
  • Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, scale-up environment
