About the role:
Join Ipsos Karian & Box as Client Advisory Director and lead commercial growth for a specialist employee‑experience practice serving FTSE100 and market‑leading clients. You’ll be a visible senior leader on the IK&B Executive team, owning key client relationships, driving retention and new business, and shaping service‑line strategy. Day‑to‑day you’ll lead senior client meetings and pitches, develop compelling proposals and executive/board presentations, coach delivery teams, and convert market intelligence into differentiated commercial offers. You’ll also lead external webinars and events, drawing on and contributing to our thought leadership and partner with marketing to amplify our positioning. This role combines high strategic influence, direct revenue accountability and the entrepreneurial spirit of a boutique with the scale and support of a global research network. If you enjoy building trusted C‑suite relationships, driving growth through insight, and shaping a collaborative, people‑first culture, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact.
About you:
Essential skills:
- Proven track record of driving commercial growth and winning new business in employee experience, insight or consulting environments
- Experience owning pitches, proposals and executive/board presentations
- Comfortable advising and presenting to C‑suite and board audiences; trusted senior client advisor
- Strategic commercial planning and market positioning capability
- Excellent written/oral communication and client‑facing presentation skills
- Organisational and project management skills with accountability for revenue outcomes
- Collaborative leader who coaches teams, builds cross‑functional partnerships and inspires high performance

Desirable skills:
- Sector knowledge in employee experience, leadership, organisational culture or HR consulting
- Thought leadership experience (webinars, whitepapers, industry events)
- Experience working with FTSE100 or large enterprise clients
- Marketing partnership experience for positioning and demand generation
- Public speaking and event representation experience
- Analytical comfort with people/employee data and insight translation
- Practical proficiency in AI tools and adoption for insight generation, proposal development, content creation and client storytelling
- Resilient, adaptable and decisive in fast‑changing client contexts
