The role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented CASS Operations Analyst to join our team and help build and maintain robust processes whilst ensuring operational activities run smoothly and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Reconciliation Management

What you'll do

  • Perform daily reconciliations for client money and safe custody assets;
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies, variances, and anomalies in reconciliation processes;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
  • Use internal systems and software tools to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements throughout reconciliation processes
  • Support the preparation of regulatory submissions, management information, and audit requests.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of reconciliation activities.
  • Assist in drafting and updating procedural manuals and internal guidelines.

Risk & Controls Management

  • Assist in assessing and mitigating risks associated with reconciliation and CASS processes
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to enhancements in the risk management framework.

What You Need To Have

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject.
  • An appetite for AI tools and automation where you'd rather build a smarter process than repeat the same task twice.
  • A passion for continuous improvement where you're never quite satisfied with “good enough” when there's a smarter way forward.
  • A creative and methodical approach to problem-solving, with a talent for cutting through complexity to find the most effective path forward.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging way.
  • Someone who takes initiative but also values the benefits of collaboration within a team.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through without needing to be chased.
  • Some exposure to financial services, operations or a related field, whether through work, study or personal interest.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or other programming languages.
