Client Care Administrator

Client Care Administrator Position at Davies Veterinary Referral Centres

About the Role

We are seeking a Client Care Administrator to join our growing Client Care team and make a valuable contribution to our vibrant firm. As the first point of contact between clients and Davies, you will play a crucial role in the client experience.

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will vary daily, ensuring no two days are the same. Your key tasks will include:

  • Friendly and professional greetings for clients and their pets.
  • Consistent communication with veterinary practices to coordinate care.
  • Arranged appointments and managing client calls with empathy and efficiency.
  • Providing support in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where reassurance and clarity are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in face-to-face interactions with clients who may be stressed or upset.
  • Confidence in telephone work, maintaining professionalism and patience.
  • Administrative tasks such as producing letters, reports, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborating within a team-oriented, demanding environment to deliver exceptional care.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a lively workplace where empathy and high standards are essential.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings.
  • Strong passion for pets and a dedication to providing compassionate care.
  • Excellent written and spoken English to interact fluently with clients and colleagues.
  • Previous experience handling distressed clients, offering reassurance, and maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Right to Work in the UK (evidence required).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly for emails, reporting, and patient record-keeping.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position that operates across a flexible shift pattern, covering 8.00 AM to 8.30 PM weekly. You should be prepared for core flexibility, including occasional weekend cover, and varying hours as required by the roster.
