Reception Assistant (Exeter Practice)
About the Role
If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, we have the perfect opportunity for you at our Exeter Practice.
Your Day-to-Day Role
Your focus is on providing an exceptional service to our clients and delivering the best care possible for their pets, acting as a link between clients and our clinical team. Key responsibilities include:
- Building strong client relationships with pets and the practice team to ensure their absolute satisfaction.
- Providing a welcoming, friendly, and professional experience for every client visiting.
- Greeting clients, offering support, guidance, and expertise, and handling payments and bookings with confidence.
- Managing day-to-day routines using our online booking system (computer literacy is essential).
You’ll also ensure clients leave knowing they’ve received exceptional service and can’t wait for their next visit.

** Hours**
We offer flexible hours, with shifts typically 8–10 hours long (expecting 10-hour shifts), and 1 weekend shift in every 4 weeks.

- Adaptable—able to handle all aspects of client interactions, from comforting those who receive sad news about their pets to sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first vet visit.
- Professional and outgoing—ensuring the practice remains a welcoming, friendly, and positive environment.
