Client Care Advisor (Receptionist) – Maternity Cover (12-Month Contract)

About the Role

We are now looking for a new Client Care Advisor to join our Lime Trees team, working across both of our practices:

  • Our purpose-built Small Animal Hospital in Meir Park
  • Our dedicated Cat Only Clinic in Cheadle

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Client Care Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll be part of a friendly, compassionate team dedicated to making a difference in the health and wellbeing of all pets.

General Responsibilities

  • Greeting all clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Organising clinical diaries for:
    • Routine appointments
    • Surgical procedures
    • Emergency consultations
  • Handling telephone inquiries from clients with a welcome and calm approach
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including:
    • Educating clients sympathetically on pet care
    • Answering questions with clarity and empathy
  • Converting inquiries into appointments to ensure continuous pet healthcare
  • Managing and updating client records and data
  • Assisting with pet insurance claims
  • Recording treatment details to support the clinical team
  • Ensuring the accuracy of invoices and collecting payments
  • Educating clients on basic animal care

Working Pattern & Contract

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Flexible hours covering:
    • 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday
    • ** ONE in four Saturday shifts (7:45am – 1:30pm)**
  • 12-month contract (maternity cover) with flexibility required for team coverage
