Client Care Advisor (Receptionist) – Maternity Cover (12-Month Contract)
About the Role
At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose: healthier animals and happier owners.
We are now looking for a new Client Care Advisor to join our Lime Trees team, working across both of our practices:
- Our purpose-built Small Animal Hospital in Meir Park
- Our dedicated Cat Only Clinic in Cheadle
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Client Care Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll be part of a friendly, compassionate team dedicated to making a difference in the health and wellbeing of all pets.
General Responsibilities
- Greeting all clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Organising clinical diaries for:
- Routine appointments
- Surgical procedures
- Emergency consultations
- Handling telephone inquiries from clients with a welcome and calm approach
- Providing exceptional customer service, including:
- Educating clients sympathetically on pet care
- Answering questions with clarity and empathy
- Converting inquiries into appointments to ensure continuous pet healthcare
- Managing and updating client records and data
- Assisting with pet insurance claims
- Recording treatment details to support the clinical team
- Ensuring the accuracy of invoices and collecting payments
- Educating clients on basic animal care

Working Pattern & Contract
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Flexible hours covering:
- 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday
- ** ONE in four Saturday shifts (7:45am – 1:30pm)**
- 12-month contract (maternity cover) with flexibility required for team coverage

Salary
£24,000 – £26,250 per year (flexible maternity cover contract)
