A bit about the role:

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple strategic, client-impacting projects or workstreams, engaging business sponsors, stakeholders, and third-party partners to ensure successful delivery. It requires maintaining transparency of project status, proactively managing risks, and assessing changes to scope, timelines, cost, and benefits, with clear escalation of issues and remediation options for decision-making. The role also ensures business readiness and benefit realisation post-implementation, while supporting governance forums and producing accurate, timely project documentation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Solid knowledge of asset management and operational processes.
  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end change in complex environments, managing ambiguity, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Experienced project manager with the ability to lead strategic, client-impacting change across front, middle, and/or back office functions – ideally with a project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI, or equivalent.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing senior leaders and collaborating across regions and cultures.
  • Proactive and delivery-focused, with strong problem-solving skills, risk management experience, and proficiency in MS Office and project tools (project management qualification desirable).

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Competitive salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Discretionary bonus opportunity - depending on individual performance and Aviva Investors’!
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days!
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.
  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities, and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.
