Client Consultant (Retail Team) – Selfridges
Job Introduction
As a Client Consultant, you are an essential part of a team that delivers the extraordinary to our customers. As a Retail team member and expert of all things Selfridges, you will be fully knowledgeable about everything the store has to offer—from the latest events to exclusive services that only Selfridges can provide.
Based in your designated department, you will:
- Create memorable experiences by understanding reasons to visit for all customers
- Deepen relationships and grow your client book while maintaining the highest retail standards
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Connect with potential clients: Identify opportunities, engage shoppers in your department, and cater to their needs in real-time
- Deliver beyond sales: Be part of a team focused on customer experience, from stock management, cash handling, and rail organisation to POS data capture and encouraging opt-ins
- Build and nurture a client base:
- Proactively develop long-term relationships through personalised updates on new products and experiences
- Focus on driving OB (Own Brand) brands and division-specific key products
- Enhance customer journeys: Seamlessly introduce clients to the rest of the store and trusted Brand Partners (you’ll be recognised as their key ambassador)
- Drive continuous improvement:
- Manage customer feedback and use it to elevate service, sales, and retail standards
- Stay ahead of trends:
- Use natural curiosity to expand product knowledge and benchmark against competitors
- Become an expert in your division to provide expert guidance
- Ensure safety and security:
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures
- Actively help prevent stock loss
