The Opportunity

We are partnering with a renowned British luxury fine jewellery house to appoint an exceptional Client Development Manager to lead and elevate its client development strategy across the UK.

Reporting directly to the Retail Director and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this is a highly commercial position that will play a key role in driving boutique performance through strategic client development, business growth, networking, and exceptional relationship management.

Working collaboratively with boutique leadership and sales teams across all UK points of sale, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, increasing client loyalty, recruiting new clients and supporting the commercial success of the business through a best-in-class clienteling strategy.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who understands the luxury client journey, has an established network within the luxury or fine jewellery sector, and thrives on creating memorable client experiences that translate into meaningful commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Development & Clienteling

  • Develop and execute the overall client development strategy across the UK retail network.
  • Build, manage and continuously grow a portfolio of VIP, HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Develop long-term relationships that encourage repeat business, loyalty and advocacy.
  • Implement personalised client journeys, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury service.
  • Champion best practice in clienteling across the business, embedding a client-first culture throughout every boutique.
  • Work closely with boutique management to identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and re-engage dormant clients.
  • Ensure CRM remains an integral part of the client experience through effective profiling, segmentation and client engagement.

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Drive sales performance by developing strategic client initiatives that directly contribute to boutique and business revenue.
  • Partner with boutique managers and sales teams to maximise every client opportunity across Fine Jewellery and High Jewellery collections.
  • Support the achievement of individual and boutique sales targets through proactive client outreach and relationship management.
  • Analyse client performance, purchasing behaviours and commercial trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Produce regular commercial and client development reports, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all client development initiatives, measuring ROI and continually refining strategies to maximise commercial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase average transaction values, appointment conversions and repeat purchases.

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
