Creode is a Leeds-based agency specialising in consumer-facing, FCA-regulated financial services clients — including banks, building societies, insurers, wealth managers, and fintechs. Our work spans branding, digital projects, web development, campaigns, and content marketing, all delivered through a phased approach from discovery to launch. Now we’re transitioning from a short-term project model towards longer-term retained relationships and productised services, with a major focus on AI as both a tool for how we work and what we offer clients.
This role is at the heart of that transformation.
The Role
You’ll own a portfolio of client relationships while driving their growth, acting as a bridge between deeply understood sector expertise and new-business ambitions. It’s a dual responsibility:
- Lead and expand existing accounts—spotting opportunities before clients do.
- Actively shape how we win new business—contributing strategic credibility and discussions about AI and digital.
This is not a typical caretaker account-manager role. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can proactively expand success, advocate for clients, and lead the client services team, setting standards and fostering professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Leadership
- Own relationships, commercial health, and growth across assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities—new projects, retained arrangements, or additional AI-enabled services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Hybrid setup: Basecamp in our Leeds office, with flexibility to travel and collaborate remotely.
