About the Role

As a Client Director, you will be instrumental in shaping strategic client relationships and driving sustainable revenue growth. This high-impact, client-facing role demands the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives, positioning XMA’s full suite of technology and service solutions to meet complex and evolving business challenges.

You will lead a consultative sales approach, identifying opportunities, navigating sophisticated deal structures, and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value. Your success will hinge on your ability to blend deep technical understanding with commercial insight, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who excels in face-to-face engagement, thrives under ambitious financial targets, and consistently delivers excellence. To succeed, you’ll need:

  • An unwavering commitment to providing outstanding service across both new and established accounts

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Engagement

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with senior decision-makers across existing and prospective client accounts
  • Lead regular face-to-face meetings, including presentations and strategic reviews
  • Ensure consistent, multi-level communication with clients, supported by internal cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor by staying informed on:
    • Industry trends
    • Emerging technologies
    • Competitive dynamics

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop and execute tailored account strategies and action-oriented plans to drive client success and business growth
  • Interpret client IT strategies to recommend optimal solutions from XMA’s technology and service portfolio
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales Solution Consultants to conduct pre-sales feasibility assessments
  • Assist clients in adopting electronic ordering tools and deepen understanding of their technology environments

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to deal closure, with precision and professionalism
  • Deliver year-on-year financial growth through:
    • Strategic account development
    • New business acquisition
  • Create compelling value propositions and ROI-driven proposals to support client decision-making
  • Engage with key vendors to:
    • Secure executive sponsorship
    • Elevate client engagement at C-level
  • Achieve set sales targets, including revenue growth and profitability metrics

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking:
    • Client engagement
    • Pipeline activity
    • Opportunity progression
  • Provide reliable sales forecasts and insights to support:
    • Business planning
    • Decision-making
  • Attend strategic vendor meetings as required to stay aligned with partner initiatives and opportunities

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to:
    • Offer support
    • Share insights
    • Strengthen team performance
  • Identify and recommend improvements to:
    • Processes
    • Tools
    • Ways of working to enhance efficiency and client outcomes
  • Uphold XMA’s values in all daily activities and interactions
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as directed by the Sales Director
