Tesco Customer Insights & Personalisation
Our UK Tesco Customer Insights & Personalisation team turns the UK’s richest source of shopper data, over 24 million Clubcard households, into the strategic intelligence that powers growth for Tesco and its Supplier Partners. We help Tesco understand the behaviour of its customers as well as the objectives (and needs!) of its Supplier Partners to unlock organic and new profitable revenue growth through data led analysis and decisions.
The Role
As a Client Director reporting to the Senior Director CIP, within the TUK CIP team you will lead senior client relationships and commercial agreements across a portfolio of high-value pieces of Tesco Group businesses.
You will sit at the heart of our Tesco partnership, shaping how data and insight drive growth for both Tesco and its supplier partners. You will be charged with developing current talent and developing a high-performing dunnhumby team. This means collaborating for impact with Tesco Customer, Tesco Commercial, Tesco Media and dh ADS teams.

What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a trusted senior business partner stakeholders at dunnhumby and Tesco, translating data into actionable commercial and/or customer strategies that deliver measurable impact.
- Lead and grow strategic client relationships across Tesco, Tesco Media and Supplier partners.
- Drive commercial performance, including revenue growth, renewals and pipeline development.
- Translate complex data and insight into clear, actionable growth strategies.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing client team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions and postive outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial leadership experience combined with deep expertise in data-led business partnerships within (i) Retail and/or (ii) FMCG environments.
- Someone who is naturally proactive and positive.
- Proven experience in leading senior client relationships and managing commercial accounts.
- Strong ability to translate data and insight into clear, strategic recommendations.
- A track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding client partnerships.
- Deep expertise in Retail, FMCG or customer data-driven environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- A solid understanding of the UK Retail market - including loyalty and personalisation activations which are live currently.
- A good understanding of the UK Retail Media market.
- An advanced understand of, or direct experience with, Loyalty vs Personalisation and the enabling science and/or technologies which drive them.
- High degree of self-awareness and advanced influencing skills.
- A team player, looking to make an impact.
