Client Engagement Director – Banking & Financial Services

Position Overview

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded and relationship-driven Client Engagement Director to join our Banking & Financial Services (BFS) team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging client leader who wants to accelerate their career within a global digital services organisation. Working alongside an experienced Client Partner, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of leading banking and financial services clients, helping to identify new opportunities, strengthen executive relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic technology and transformation programmes.

We are looking for 5+ years engagement manager experience where you have been accountable for end-to-end account success, including sales, delivery, revenue growth, stakeholder management, and overall client satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, technology sales, account management or client engagement who is ready to take the next step towards a future Client Partner or Account Director career path.

We're looking for a self-starter, a relationship builder, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative, curiosity and commercial thinking are rewarded.

Why This Role?

This is not a traditional account management position.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work directly with senior Client Partners and BFS industry leaders.
  • Build relationships with some of the world's largest banks, insurers and financial institutions.
  • Contribute to multi-million-pound technology transformation programmes.
  • Gain exposure to AI, Data, Cloud, Digital Engineering and Business Transformation solutions.
  • Learn how strategic accounts are managed and grown.
  • Fast-track your development into a future Client Partner leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Support the Client Partner in managing and developing strategic client relationships across a portfolio of Banking & Financial Services accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Become a trusted and responsive point of contact for day-to-day account activities.
  • Understand client priorities, challenges and business objectives to identify opportunities where our capabilities can add value.
  • Help coordinate executive meetings, account reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
