Client Executive – Management Liability (Hybrid Role)
Norwich Office
Marsh’s Financial & Professional Liability (FINPRO) division is seeking a Client Executive to join their Management Liability team in a hybrid role, requiring at least three days per week in-office working.
About the Role
You will manage an existing portfolio of client accounts while proactively identifying and developing new revenue opportunities. Working within a specialised team, you’ll collaborate to secure and renew business, with a focus on Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) Liability, alongside Pension Trustees Liability (PTL), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), and Commercial Crime coverages.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to build or advance a career in the insurance industry, with full training and support provided—previous industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Client Account Management & New Business Growth
- Manage a portfolio of renewing accounts and secure new business
- Develop expertise in risk management, industry trends, and carriers
- Support the placement strategy to drive growth and retain clients

Negotiation & Underwriting
- Engage directly with clients and internal producers
- Negotiate with London insurance markets to secure competitive terms
- Present and secure client agreements while ensuring prompt policy issuance
Relationship & Service Coordination
- Build relationships with markets, underwriters, and client teams
- Fund and oversee the placement process, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Strategic & Operational Support
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy and pricing discussions
- Bind coverage while maintaining quality placement binders
- Monitor market trends and communicate changes to clients and advisors
Technical & Compliance Execution
- Drive new and renewal business execution (procedural compliance, annual exhibits)
- Maintain accurate system entries and documentation for renewals
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity for multi-tasking
- Detail-oriented and deadline-conscious, with problem-solving mindset
- Commitment to high professional standards
- Good standard of education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
