We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Executive (12-months FTC) to join our Peerpoint team, based in A&O Shearman's Belfast office.
As Peerpoint Client Executive, you will work closely with our Client Development Team to support them in responding to client requests, growing our sales pipeline and developing relationships with our clients, who are some of the leading financial institutions and corporates in the world. A&O Shearman is a priority client relationship for Peerpoint and the role includes supporting our strategic engagement with the firm. You will also help us identify the best legal consultants from our panel to meet the needs of our client engagements and provide ongoing support to both clients and consultants throughout the placement process.

What you will do
Client engagement support
- Support the implementation of our client engagement strategy for growth - both external clients and our internal client, A&O Shearman (AOS)
- Assist the Client Development Team by supporting the opportunity lifecycle including new matter intake processes and by supporting key client accounts and engagements, including preparing consultant panel searches for opportunities, proposals, contracts, reports and updating consultant CVs.
- Maintain and update AOS stakeholder maps for ongoing engagement and reporting. Assist the team in preparing client briefings in advance of key stakeholder meetings (Firm and external clients).
- Surface and share industry and client insights for effective sales conversations.
- Responsible for maintaining the Client Team Handbook with best practices, processes and templates.
Business development campaigns and initiatives
- Support proactive consultant deployment/client outreach initiatives to promote the skills and experience we have on our panel in a coordinated and programmatic approach, including tracking activity and coordinating team outreach.
- Research, identify and track new client leads and opportunities.
- Assist with monitoring AOS internal communications and flag relevant demand signals, lateral moves, or resourcing pressures for engagement.
- Build up knowledge of panel skill sets and highlight areas of supply and demand.
- Assist with organising and delivering Peerpoint events to drive engagement within our Peerpoint UK lawyer and client community and enhance Peerpoint's visibility and reputation.

CV maintenance
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of client-ready consultant CVs.
- Tailor and document consultant profiles for deployment.
Compliance and data management
- Support the IR35 process: draft and maintain comprehensive IR35 determination documentation, including status determination statements (SDS) and supporting evidence, ensuring assessments are robust, auditable, and aligned with HMRC guidance and internal governance processes.
- Support the maintenance of Salesforce data (AOS, clients and consultants) as well as other internal databases and records.
Deployment readiness
- Work closely with all Peerpoint UK teams to ensure readiness for the deployment of consultants, particularly during critical phases such as new consultant onboarding or high value client opportunities.
- Support consultants during placements by coordinating timely access to firm systems and resources, including IT mailboxes (AOS placements), legal databases, and internal platforms.
- Identify potential risks or roadblocks that may impact consultant deployment, and proactively escalate issues as required.
- Support team members in gathering feedback during and post-deployment of consultants, track areas for improvement and collaborate with other team members in ensuring future readiness.
Business improvement and efficiencies
- Collaborate with all Peerpoint UK teams to identify opportunities for improving business processes and operational efficiency within the consultant deployment lifecycle.
- Identify and highlight opportunities for operational efficiencies enabling improved ways of managing the flow of information between relevant UK and global teams.
- Champion efficiencies through AI adoption to optimise productivity by being a "super user" of approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Harvey) to support drafting, research, analysis, and documentation.
- Identify processes to apply AI to automate routine or repetitive tasks where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with new AI tools and features relevant to the role, share useful AI prompts or productivity techniques with the team.

- Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
