Aviation Specialty (Airside Liability) – Client Executive (CE)
Join our Airside Liability Team within Marshall’s Aviation Specialty (Aerospace) for an exciting opportunity to manage an insurance portfolio for businesses operating within airports globally.
This ** hybrid role** (minimum 3 days per week in-office) allows you to leverage over 30 years of specialised industry experience and nerd-deep expertise in Third Party Liability Insurance placements for aerodrome liability, terminal leaseholders, engineering firms, retail outlets, car-parks and more.
About the Role
- Team: Marshall’s Aviation Specialty Practice, combining unparalleled product knowledge, market expertise, and deep sector understanding.
- Client Focus: Support Wholesale Brokers and Direct Clients, assisting them with new business connections and renewals.
- Scoping Suite: Work closely with an affected airline or aviation-based managerial body to guide our client’s needs and ensure compliance-driven service delivery.
- Development Mantra: Full training provided, plus funding for the prestigious Certificate in Insurance (CertCII), along with progression paths to Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications.
You’ll not only be managing a book of renewal business but also handling documentation checks, claims liaison, complex quotations, and priority-driven task management to meet our clients’ evolving needs.

- Core Responsibilities:
- Build strong internal (Marsh, Insurers, Compliance) and external (clients, brokers) relationships, driving retention and growth.
- Place business-solution-driven insurance policies that reflect our clients’ operational realities.
- Ensure compliance clarity in all issued contracts: certificates of insurance, quotations, and accurate invoicing.
- Collaborate closely with our Marsh Fiduciary, Claims, and other specialist teams for seamless service delivery.
- Resolve and escalate corner cases with strategic problem-solving and effective internally-sourced action.
- Maintain priopsy execution in managing documentation quality control and consistently uphold set services.
The Must-Have Requirements
- Key Skills:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail, solid admin & organisation.
- Enthusiastic ability for solving problematic workloads and improving processes where needed.
- numeracy skills strong enough to understand and manage premium structures.
- Adaptability to new systems and open-minded desire to learn through ongoing professional development.
- Excellent IT proficiency—ability to thrive fast in evolving digital environments.
