The Role:
We are looking for a Client Finance Senior Advisor to play a key role in supporting the firm's client financial management activities. Working closely with Client Relationship Partners and Managers, Business Managers, local revenue teams and global finance teams across our offices, you will help ensure compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines and fee arrangements while identifying commercial opportunities. Reporting to the Head of CoE RLC, this role also has responsibility for the line management and development of two direct reports, alongside building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the Outside Counsel Guidelines and engagement terms review process, ensuring that client requirements are accurately assessed, communicated and implemented across the firm, while maintaining compliance with agreed engagement terms and billing protocols.
- Maintaining and improving financial hygiene of our client profiles, through strong analysis of performance and advising on strategies to improve net investment and recovery.
- Supporting MRPs and CRMs in maintaining strong client relationships, based on good financial hygiene.
- Global, internal escalation point for all revenue and general finance related matters, for both the practice and Business teams.
- Collaborating with global finance teams to ensure consistent, providing expert advice pertaining to client enquiries regarding compliance and reporting.
- Reviewing and supporting of new fee deals and ensuring strong communication to the global billing network any amendments/changes.
- Preparing audits for specific clients to ensure that we have billed rates and OSIs and other protocols in line with panel terms.
- Ensure CoE RLC 'owned' online resources are maintained with correct client information, and that all other teams have sufficient information to ensure other resources are updated accordingly.
- Manage and support resource allocation within the LGS Warsaw team, ensuring appropriate coverage, effective workload distribution and alignment with operational priorities and business objectives.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and operational support to the LGS Warsaw team, promoting best practice, driving process improvements and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality client service.

What we're looking for:
- Significant experience within a professional services environment, with a strong background in credit control, client finance or eBilling.
- Proven experience of working directly with clients and building trusted relationships, with the confidence to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing processes, including a detailed understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT requirements within a law firm environment.
- Commercially aware, with strong financial and business acumen and the ability to identify and advise on client-focused solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations, handle challenging conversations professionally and work collaboratively across teams.
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
