About Mercury Wealth
We’re a dynamic and growing wealth management firm, proud of our friendly, supportive and high-performing team. Our office is based next to the Tees Barrage, offering a modern working environment with ample free parking.
We place a high value on client experience, attention to detail and personal development. We want every client and visitor to feel genuinely welcomed, well looked after and confident that they are in capable hands.
The Opportunity
As our new Client Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of Mercury House and the first point of contact for clients, professionals and visitors.
This is more than a traditional reception role. You’ll take ownership of the client experience within the office, making sure every visit feels considered, professional and effortless from arrival to departure.
You’ll work closely with our Planning & Operations Lead, financial planners and wider team to coordinate meetings, manage our client-facing environment and support the delivery of events and professional engagements.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience in hospitality, premium retail, corporate reception or professional services who wants to bring their service skills into a professional environment with greater responsibility and long-term development opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
