Client Investment Specialists play a pivotal role at the heart of our client offering. As a Client Investment Specialist/Portfolio Manager, you will act as a trusted investment partner to both clients and Client Advisors, bringing our investment strategy to life through tailored, high-quality portfolio solutions. You will support on sophisticated investment proposals and portfolio reviews, supporting bespoke discretionary and advisory relationships, while ensuring alignment to house views and governance standards. Working closely with front office teams, you will help translate client needs into personalised investment strategies, managing portfolios for complex and high value clients.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead for investment proposals & portfolio reviews for “bespoke” clients in discretionary solutions.
- Deal with more sophisticated clients that would need specific tailoring in their bespoke discretionary portfolios.
- Understand the clients’ needs and preferences for bespoke discretionary portfolio management.
- Provide an active feedback loop to colleagues in ICS on offering development, investment views, and product recommendations.
- Communicate our house view to Client Advisors and clients, ensuring high quality ‘after sales’ content for discretionary mandates and advisory solutions, when needed and requested by clients.
- Implementation of investment views: ensure the different investment views, bespoke building blocks are delivered and reflected in Bespoke discretionary mandates, while implementing the Portfolio Construction team model portfolios and recommendations in Core and Personal discretionary solutions.
- Act as the ambassador of the entire Investment capabilities of our Group (i.e. Asset Allocation, Structured Solutions, Alternatives, Fund Solutions, Equities, Fixed Income, and Direct Investments).
- Support our Client Advisors, and partner with Lending and Wealth Planning, in driving growth.
- Be an agent of change for strategic transformation.
- Help develop, pitch and oversee customised DPM solutions tailored to the needs of ‘Be-spoke’ clients.

Knowledge and Experience
Extensive experience in a similar Investment Specialist/Portfolio Manager position within Financial Services/Wealth Management.
Minimum Level 4 qualified
