Client Leadership Opportunity with Avidity Group
Location: Flexible across the UK, ideally Midlands to South East (home-based with travel)
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 plus car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, annual leave purchase scheme, and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role
Are you an experienced Client Leader, Client Services Manager, Account Director, or Senior Field Sales Leader with a proven track record in the FMCG retail – grocery, convenience, or other field marketing channels?
We're looking for an individual who truly understands the dynamics of field sales and outsourced sales solutions, having built their career either agency-side or brand-side. You'll have extensive experience leading large, geographically dispersed field teams through a management structure or directly, owning senior client relationships, and delivering exceptional commercial results within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
This is a senior strategic leadership role within Avidity Group (often known internally as Account Manager), and experience of managing large-scale field sales operations, alongside significant client ownership and P&L accountability, is essential.
Whether your experience has been gained across Grocery, Convenience, Impulse, On-Trade, Away From Home, Wholesale, or broader Retail channels, you'll bring a strong understanding of what it takes to drive performance, influence stakeholders, and deliver growth in a highly competitive FMCG retail market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
