We're a people-focused, family-owned global pharmaceutical service provider with over 200 years of heritage. As the UK's largest independent pharmaceutical wholesaler, we support manufacturers, hospitals and healthcare providers with innovative supply chain and distribution solutions that ultimately improve patient care.

Working closely with the Hospital Business Director, you'll identify new commercial opportunities, negotiate distribution agreements, and help grow our hospital division through long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing senior stakeholders, and making a real impact within the pharmaceutical industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
As our Client Manager, you will:
- Build and manage long-term relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and key industry stakeholders.
- Identify and secure new commercial opportunities through networking and business development.
- Negotiate Hospital Distribution Agreements and commercial contracts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
