Client Manager

Client Manager Role - Experienced and Chartered/ACCA - 5 Years Plus

About JTP Accountancy & Tax Services

JTP Accountancy & Tax Services is a fast-growing, independent accountancy practice based in Eastbourne, established in 2018. Led by founder and director Jack Porter, the firm specialises in serving owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs across diverse sectors including hospitality, property, construction, professional services, e-commerce, beauty, and sport.

JTP is recognised for being commercially minded, relationship-led, and proactive, rather than just compliance-focused. The firm has experienced rapid growth, focusing heavily on:

  • People and culture
  • Technology and systems
  • Advisory-led client relationships

Operating collaboratively, JTP combines in-house staff with outsourced support to allow senior team members to concentrate on client relationships, quality, and value-added work while minimising administrative burden. They are a Xero-focused practice with robust systems and workflows, underpinned by a clear vision for future growth. Senior team members benefit from a trusted, supported environment with real autonomy as the firm scales.

The Role

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Client Manager with relevant experience to take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients and play a crucial role in JTP’s next growth phase. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring technical expertise, strong client relationship management, and internal leadership.

The ideal candidate will sit between the delivery team and the director, trusted to manage clients daily while contributing to continual improvements within the firm. This is not a high-pressure sales role—billing is handled centrally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
