Are you an experienced practice accountant looking for more than just another compliance role?

We're partnering with a growing independent accountancy practice in East Yorkshire that has built an excellent reputation through referrals, exceptional client service, and organic growth. Following a sustained period of expansion, they're looking to appoint a Client Manager to help manage an increasing workload and support the development of junior team members.
This is a key hire for the business and offers significant long-term progression potential.
The Role
You'll take ownership of an established portfolio of clients while supporting the wider team and helping drive the next phase of growth.
- Accounts Preparation: Preparing and reviewing accounts through to finalisation
- Tax Compliance: Personal and corporate tax work across a varied client base
- Management Accounts: Producing management information and supporting clients with financial reporting
- Client Management: Acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact
- Team Development: Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Advisory Exposure: Broad exposure across different areas of practice including trusts and estates work

What We're Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong all-round accountancy practice background
- Experience preparing accounts through to finalisation
- Comfortable managing client relationships independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Desire to progress and take on increasing responsibility
- Trusts and estates experience beneficial but not essential
