Overview

As a Client Manager, you'll play a key role in managing and developing client relationships, ensuring our clients receive an exceptional service experience and maximum value from their partnership with Gallagher Bassett. Acting as the link between clients and operational teams, you'll build strong relationships, lead client meetings and presentations, and use data and insights to support service performance discussions.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, presenting to stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience. You'll work closely with colleagues across Client Services, Operations, and Business Development, helping to drive client retention, growth, and service excellence.

The role offers autonomy, variety, and exposure to a diverse range of clients, with regular travel across the Midlands and London. How you'll make an impact

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Lead client meetings, service reviews, presentations, and performance discussions.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
  • Analyse and interpret reporting, MI, and performance data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support account growth through additional services and solutions.
  • Support client retention activities and contribute to the achievement of business growth objectives.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure data integrity within Salesforce and other systems.
  • Support audits, governance activities, and contractual service delivery requirements.
  • Build strong internal relationships across Operations, Business Development, and Client Services teams.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, market trends, and client-specific challenges.
  • Represent Gallagher Bassett professionally at client meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support wider Client Services projects when required.

About You

  • Client relationship or account management experience within insurance, claims, TPA, broking, or a related industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience analysing and presenting performance data and MI.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Claims experience within Motor, Property, or Casualty, ideally in a TPA environment (desirable).

  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
