About the Role
Reporting to the Onboarding Manager, the Client Manager will provide an efficient, streamlined, and transparent onboarding experience for Crown Agents Bank’s clients. This involves:
- Facilitating, tracking, and reporting all stages of onboarding, including KYC, regulatory compliance, product, and operational setup.
- Ensuring platforms and systems are configured for clients to execute their first trades.
- Setting up Back Office processes for swift trade and payment deliveries when required.
- Data collection from internal and external stakeholders for Management Information (MI) and case tracking.
- Client lifecycle management, including:
- Internal administration via client-focused forums.
- External engagement and onboarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Journey Management
- Track client progress through the onboarding lifecycle, ensuring timely alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Manage the full onboarding process, including KYC coordination and client service excellence.
- Set up FX and payment platforms, SWIFT integration, and account configurations (including wallets, currency accounts, and tariffs).
- Gather and maintain necessary documentation for trade setup and launch.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate across teams and stakeholders to:
- Ensure readiness for the client’s first trade.
- Gather required approvals or escalate issues when needed.
- Facilitate a smooth handover to the Client Services (BAU) team post-onboarding.
Data Management & Reporting
- Collect, verify, and maintain accurate data for MI, regulatory records, and internal business partners.
- Provide quarterly/regular performance updates and represent onboarding in cross-functional meetings.
Risk & Control
- Identify and escalate potential control issues in KYC and onboarding processes.
- Contribute to resolution strategies in collaboration with regulatory teams.
Technical & Functional Knowledge
- FX and payments expertise, particularly in onboarding operational flows.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and channels that support client demands.

Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in finance, banking, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial services, banking, or client-facing roles, with emphasis on:
- Onboarding & customer onboarding in fintech/payments.
- CDD/KYC processes advantageous.
- FX transactions and cross-border payment operations advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of FX markets, payments infrastructure, and global trade finance.
- Experience with banking systems, SWIFT, and transaction processing platforms.
