Aon is currently recruiting a Client Manager to join our Corporate team in Chelmsford. This is a hybrid role, combining home, office, and client-based working, with a strong focus on engaging with and supporting your client portfolio as part of a collaborative client service team.

- Lead a portfolio of our key clients, ensuring exceptional service provision while leveraging Aon’s specialist resources.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring they understand and maximise our full range of capabilities.
- Deliver tailored insurance solutions and risk management advice, specialising in sectors like food & beverage, retail, hospitality, and the digital economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client service: Ensure the highest standards of engagement with assigned clients using predefined service tools.
- Understand and address client needs: Communicate complex business issues to internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
- Build strategic relationships: Develop trust with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Grow revenue: Drive profitability by achieving annual revenue targets within your client portfolio.
- Compliance & risk management: Act within Aon’s framework, adhere to policies, and manage risks proactively (including mandatory training).

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven insurance industry experience,particularly in client relationship management and commercial risks.
- Direct experience with large-scale corporate insurance risks highly desirable.
- Commercial savvy—understanding market dynamics, competitive forces, and risk impact.
- Prior sales ability, negotiated fee structures, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation prowess.
