About The Role
We’re looking for a Client Operations Analyst to join our Pension Operations team. You’ll play a key role in managing pension transfers, pension-related payments, and the operational processes that support clients throughout their retirement investment journey.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and organised, and who enjoys working in a regulated environment where accuracy, ownership, and client outcomes are critical.
You’ll work closely with Client Experience, Product, and Compliance teams and have the autonomy to own operational processes from end to end.
What You’ll Do
- Manage pension transfer processes, including transfers in and transfers out
- Process pension-related payments accurately and within agreed service levels
- Liaise with pension providers, administrators, and third-party partners to resolve transfer queries
- Monitor transfer progress and proactively manage outstanding cases
- Investigate operational issues and exceptions, applying structured problem-solving and escalating where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and client outcomes
- Ensure all activities align with FCA requirements, including AML/KYC, CASS, Consumer Duty, and pension regulations

What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in pension operations, SIPP administration, or a similar pension-focused operational role
- Strong understanding of pension transfers and pension administration processes
- Experience working with pension providers and transfer networks
- Familiarity with Origo, Altus, or similar pension administration platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Clear communicator who can manage stakeholders effectively and escalate risks when required
- Professional, dependable, and collaborative mindset
- English fluency (C1 level and above) — we are a UK-based company, and the role involves regular communication with the team
Nice to Have
- Experience working in investment, wealth management, or fintech start-ups and scale-ups
- Experience contributing to operational improvements or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with SQL or operational tooling
