Role Overview: Client Operations Support Specialist

The successful candidate will support the Client Operations team by ensuring accurate processing of transactions for diverse customer segments—ranging from corporate clients and wealth management customers to internal departments. Close collaboration across the bank is critical to meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Role Responsibilities

  • Process payments for Corporates, Wealth Management clients, Group entities, and internal departments.
  • Accept transactions via Internet Banking, SWIFT (UK Clearing), or any other medium.
  • Adhere meticulously to internal and external SLAs for seamless payment processing.
  • Allocate payments accurately (payment positioning).
  • Execute ad hoc statement production as required.
  • Conduct End of Day Queue Checking to maintain operational accuracy.
  • Handle and escalate complaints through systematic investigations.
  • Respond timelely to REGULAR EMAILS.
  • Process Retail Deposits, including professional interaction with customers.
  • Perform Nostro Account reconciliations to uphold financial accuracy.
  • Support Debit Card Processing and Applications.
  • Carry out varied operational tasks within the Client Operations Department.
  • Assist with testing of Flexcube system upgrades and newly released patch sets for UK and Paris operations.

Essential Requirements & Skills

  • In-depth understanding of banking operations in a Client Operations context.
  • Digital literacy with proficiency in banking systems platforms.
  • Full awareness of regulatory requirements and their evolving nature.
  • Sound analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Attention to detail combined with efficient time management.
  • Strong risk awareness and vigilance to safeguard data integrity.
  • Excellent customer service with a navigable and consultative approach.
  • Critical communication skills for both written and verbal engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.

Additional Notes

This position is a fixed-term contract, lasting 6 Months and pays up to £45,000.00 depending on relevant experience.
