Job Role: Client Partner - Growth & Emerging
We’re looking for a Client Partner - Growth & Emerging who expects more from their career. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding commercial targets, within an SMB client team, driving the Tesco Media proposition and product adoption working with multiple stakeholders. You will help to define the future of Retail Media with the support of the UK's largest Retailer and help small businesses and challenger brands with driving sales and long-term brand growth. The right candidate will play a defining role in growing our self-serve strategy & digital first approach.
You will be responsible for driving education and adoption of our onsite performance products, including Search and Display formats across Tesco.com and the Tesco shopping App with SMB clients, with a focus on self-serve adoption.

The successful candidate will join our Growth & Emerging team and work with world-class and passionate people to deliver a digital first strategy that creates measurable value for customers, advertisers & Tesco Media.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of quarterly + yearly revenue goals and pipeline management supporting your team on their growth strategy for their books of business.
- Be an evangelist in multi-channel marketing and drive this approach through your team supporting pitches demonstrating a deep understanding of the UK market, leveraging market trends, customer insights, campaign analysis, and performance.
- Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
- Support your team to drive self-serve adoption and a digital first approach with their clients approaching these with both a customer first and commercial mindset.
- Working with cross-functional teams to proactively develop strategic insights, identifying opportunities for growth for sales leads to take to their clients.
- Passionately advocate and model the delivery of first-class customer service to our client base, holding yourself to the highest standards.
- Broad partnership engagement and scaled coverage across key stakeholders (Shopper, Brand, Digital, Media, Commerce, Agency & Loyalty teams).
- Maintain a deep understanding and expertise of Tesco Media & Insights platform products and roadmap.
- Be confident challenging client strategy to maximise the role Tesco Media and Insights platform plays in delivering meaningful business outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in Media Sales and/or Retail Media with a successful track record in delivering customer satisfaction and exceeding sales targets.
- Evidence of relationship building with relevant stakeholders to drive revenue growth, product, and platform adoption to unlock incremental revenue.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth with a diverse book of business and deliver against SLAs at pace.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a strong sales pipeline, forecast accurately, exceeding quarterly and annual commercial targets within a rapidly growing business.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and highly goal-oriented in order to exceed targets.
- An interest in working with product and technology stakeholders to continue to improve our digital performance products and drive self-serve adoption.
- Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- A team player with the proven ability to collaborate with internal departments and teams.
- Knowledge of the media agency landscape, operating models, and commercial structure.
