The Role
We're looking for a commercially driven relationship builder with an established network of senior marketing and commercial decision-makers and a deep understanding of the media landscape.
You will use your industry expertise, consultative approach, and commercial acumen to identify opportunities and create strategic partnerships with brands and advertisers. By understanding client objectives, business challenges, and growth ambitions, you'll develop solutions that leverage Ocean's inventory, technology, and partnerships to deliver measurable business outcomes and long-term commercial value.
Reporting to the Director of Brand Partnerships, you'll play a critical role in driving category growth, developing new revenue opportunities, and positioning Ocean as a trusted strategic partner to brands.
What you will be doing
- Develop and maintain senior relationships with key decision-makers, including CMOs, marketing directors, brand directors, and commercial stakeholders.
- Lead consultative client conversations to uncover business challenges, marketing objectives, and growth opportunities, translating these into solutions that leverage Ocean's inventory, technology, and creative capabilities.
- Understand and effectively communicate Ocean's product proposition, technology, data capabilities, and partnerships in relation to client requirements.
- Proactively identify and develop opportunities within target accounts and categories, creating solutions before formal briefs exist and driving growth across priority sectors.
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities that meet and exceed revenue objectives.
- Act as an Ocean ambassador, attending networking events, hosting or participating in panels, and representing Ocean at key industry events.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop client engagement strategies, CRM initiatives, presentations, and pitch collateral.
- Take ownership of key growth categories identified through market segmentation.
- Collaborate with the wider commercial team to drive year-on-year revenue growth through a client-first approach.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Content & Sponsorship, to create innovative and commercially compelling opportunities for clients.
- Develop long-term partnership opportunities around the world-famous Piccadilly Lights and other premium Ocean assets.
- Manage resources and oversee campaign delivery for direct bookings.
- Work collaboratively with Finance to ensure campaign accuracy, booking confirmations, and the timely resolution of invoice queries.
- Contribute to wider business initiatives and projects as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
