Client Partnership Senior Lead (FTC)

Client Partner – Tesco Account Management

(12-month Fixed-Term Contract, London)

About the Role: Elevate Client Partnerships with Dunnhumby & Tesco

dunnhumby is revolutionising how the world’s most beloved brands and retailers engage with customers. We merge cutting-edge Customer Data Science, deep business insight, and technologically advanced solutions to deliver measurable growth, innovation, and customer-centric value. Powering household favourites like Tesco, Nestlé, Unilever, and Coca-Cola, our 2,500+ experts across six continents drive transformational outcomes for leaders in the retail, CPG, and e-commerce sectors.

In this high-impact role, you will work as a senior Client Partner focusing on Tesco’s portfolio of consumer brands. Positioned centrally between clients, data scientists, and commercial teams, you will shape insight-driven strategies, solve complex commercial challenges, and drive visible growth across Tesco’s category performance—without conforming to a “traditional” sales model. This is an opportunity for autonomy, strategic influence, and rapid progression within dunnhumby’s elite Client Partner programme.

Your client-facing impact will be unparalleled. You’ll own, advise, and develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring Tesco captures value from ai-powered category insights. That means handling mixed portfolios (small to large clients) with varying complexity, always with the 镈ommercial goal of achieving target growth and share expansion.

Your Impact

You will:

  • Own commercial results: Take full accountability for revenue growth, expansion opportunities, and renewals across a curated portfolio of Tesco clients, translating data-supported strategies into tangible impact.
  • Partner at leadership levels: Serve as an insight-driven coach and strategic ally for clients, guiding them through category wall challenges, shelf space optimisation, and purchase flow tactics to maximise Tesco’s commercial potential.
  • Fuel data-driven decisions: Extract meaningful insights from AI/automation tools to diagnose market performance and forecast key trends, then articulate these insights in a strategic, non-technical way to drive action.
  • Shape the future of category strategies: Leverage proprietary dunnhumby analysis to shape renewal, expansion, and new solutions, ensuring clients (and Tesco) seize growth possibilities.
  • Build and retain client trust: Lead struggled, high-impact conversations that champion your clients, while aligning their ambitions and Tesco’s commercial objectives.
  • Deliver strategic foresight: Hone a commercial gut instinct paired with well-structured, prioritised opportunity pipelines to consistently confirm teams and clients.
  • Collaborate for success: Work alongside Client Success Teams, Product, and Solutions to embed high-quality insights into daily delivery, sustaining Tesco’s (“Brand’s”) long-term outperformance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
