About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experience events specialist to join our Events team as a Client Programmes and Events Manager in Birmingham.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in the development and delivery of the firm’s in‑house engagement programme, with a particular focus on event design and delivery, thought leadership, digital marketing and member acquisition.

You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the firm, building strong internal relationships with teams including Business Development, Docucentre, catering, Intelligent Office, facilities, partners and fee earners. Externally, you’ll liaise with clients, suppliers and industry peers, ensuring a seamless and high quality experience across all programmes and events.

Reporting into a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll also have responsibility for the day to day management and development of three Senior Events Executives.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate confidence in delivering integrated marketing and communications activity, with responsibility for managing and supporting an established team.

You’ll bring varied communications experience, including a strong background in events delivery, ideally within a business‑to‑business environment. Experience within professional services would be an advantage, though not essential. An understanding of memberships and acquisition would also be beneficial, even if this hasn’t been a core focus of your role to date.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
