The Pensions Project Management Team sits within the Actuarial & Consulting service line and is part of our broader Projects team. In this role, you will lead high-profile, strategic client projects and work with senior leaders across all service lines nationwide.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to take the lead as Client Project Manager on complex, bespoke client-facing projects, including managing junior project managers and shaping our project management approach while serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
An example of the projects you may lead includes GMPe projects, where you will collaborate closely with the GMPe Programme Director to deliver intended outcomes. Additional areas of focus include supporting Isio’s Pension Administration and Operational Solutions teams in data transformation projects and insurance transactions, including buy-ins and buy-outs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
