Client Relationship Manager - Professional Services

Full Time Hybrid

Location: London (2 days)

Salary: Up to 65k per annum DOE


We are looking to recruit an exceptionally creative and innovative Client Development Manager for this high-profile International firm. In this newly created role, you will manage all aspects of client development, including strategy and research; leading pitches and internal/external team meetings; developing marketing and business development activity that ties into the clients' needs; monitoring KPIs and reporting regularly back to the board and business on progress. Managing 3 accounts within a sector, the role covers a range of business lines and practice areas required to manage a global key account and requires exceptional relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping develop the firm's client development methodology as the programme expands into new areas of the firm
  • Leading the strategy for the clients ensuring alignment of client programmes across the firm, ensuring that BD activity is driven by client needs
  • Ensuring the implementation of effective client strategies, aligning strategy and client needs, achieving growth across the programme
  • Creating and coordinating client teams and effective cross-practice groups to support client development plans
  • Supporting the development of appropriate marketing materials and activities to fulfil client plans
  • Overseeing the creation of differentiating proposal materials and the management of client pitch efforts
  • Formulating relevant business development budgets in relation to client activity and management of the budget to ensure that the firm receives suitable ROI
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting regular progress back to the firm's management, partnership, and senior members of the Business Development team

The Successful Candidate:

  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) or equivalent experience, CIM desirable
  • Experience of working as a Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager within a fast-paced professional services environment (legal, accountancy, or real estate)
  • Experience of leading sector-focused client development and marketing activities
  • Experience of operating in a client-facing role desirable

To qualify for the top end of the salary bracket, you will bring 4-5 years plus experience of client relationship management on a global scale within a professional services firm – law, accountancy, or real estate.
