Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working after probation
Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)

TC Bulley Davey are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join the team in their Peterborough office. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of accountancy clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will work closely with internal teams to understand client needs, identify opportunities for growth, and support long-term client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing year end accounts, corporation and personal tax returns and VAT returns prepared by senior or junior members of the accounts team.
- Helping clients with general advice and software questions.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, this will involve workforce planning, management of WIP and billing
- Briefing team members on assignments, ensuring everyone has a clear understanding of the plans
- Oversee junior team members, delegating work between the team and signing off on files prepared by them - ensuring work is done within budget
- Strengthening existing client relationships
- Contributing to ongoing process improvement and best practice development
- Winning new clients

About You
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of Practice experience
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Working knowledge of accounting software including Sage and Xero, previous use of CCH would be an advantage.
- Recent experience of Accounts production with a good level of technical knowledge of accounting standards
- Strong Excel skills (including vlookup, sumif and Pivot Tables)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Able to demonstrate drive and initiative
- Comfortable in a client facing role
- Strong background in accounts preparation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous knowledge and experience of a broad range of sectors would be an advantage
- Solid communication skills, with experience of regular, in-person or telephone client contact
- Organised and diligent, ensuring that jobs are processed in a timely way and that client requests are dealt with
- Participative team player that motivates others and willingly accepts tasks to assist others
