Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Captives team at Marsh as a Client Service Accountant. This role can be based in any US office location.
The client service accountant is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with a portfolio of clients by servicing key accounts, predominantly preparing financial statements for diverse industries. We will count on you to:
- Prepare monthly or quarterly financial statements for captive clients.
- Assist with the annual audit, annual actuarial review, and prepare materials for Annual Board of Directors meetings.
- Collaborate with the Client Service Manager to maintain accurate records for reporting and audit purposes, with exposure to GAAP, Statutory, or IFRS-prepared financials and audit-related reports.
- Facilitate the renewal cycle by completing renewal protocols, gathering information, tracking quotes, and ensuring the timely issuance of documents in accordance with professional standards.
- Begin to build relationships with clients, client service teams, and captive service providers to deliver exceptional service.
What you need to have
- Bachelor’s degree related to accounting
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Hybrid Work
Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections, and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
Compensation
The applicable base salary range for this role is $43,600 to $93,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
