Client Service Specialist

About the Role

This is a full-time, home-based (with office attendance required at least once a month) role focused on:

  • Maintaining a portfolio of UK clients from an account management perspective.
  • Delivering excellent client service and building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting multinational clients, often managing their UK and global benefits, including:
    • Group Risk
    • Group Health Insurance
    • Retirement Plans

The role involves manual handling and preparation of client data, client communications (inward & outward), and end-to-end account support. A mix of autonomous work with occasional travel may be required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management
    • Manage a portfolio of UK SME clients, providing daily support on pensions, group risk, and group healthcare in collaboration with a consultant.

    • Liaise with insurance providers to organize renewals, obtain quotes, and upgrade beneficiaries or plan details.

    • Gather and analyze client benefits data, including researching and cross-referencing client arrangements.
    • Ensure accurate completion of application forms, Renewal RecommendationReports, and M&A data reporting.

    • Support compliance, internal provider panel feedback, and scheduled scheme maintenance.

Requirements

Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years in Employee Benefits, either with a large insurer or a consultancy firm.
  • Strong understanding of group benefits design and products, including:
    • Group healthcare
    • Group risk
    • Pension schemes
  • Experience using a internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
