Client Services Consultant

Business & Client Services Coordinator

About the Role

If you’re someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and thrives in a busy, collaborative financial services environment, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in investment administration and client support.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring clients receive timely, accurate, and thoughtful support across administrative and front-line service channels. As your confidence develops, you’ll also build skills in direct client interaction, helping resolve queries and contributing to a seamless end-to-end client experience.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Process client tasks from multiple channels (secure messages, email, website, and post) with accuracy and compliance to agreed timeframes
  • Manage operational workflows, including printing, scanning, and postal processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure seamless task completion
  • Maintain accurate records and share client feedback to support digital services improvements
  • Escalate complaints in line with set procedures

Front-Line Client Service

  • Support client enquiries via telephone, live chat, email, and secure messaging
  • Take ownership of client requests and coordinate with colleagues for efficient resolution
  • Identify service issues and escalate where necessary
  • Contribute to service enhancements based on day-to-day experience

Qualifications & Training

We’ll support you in building strong foundations in investment administration and client service, including:

  • Completing the CISI Introduction to Securities & Investments exam within your first year
  • Developing a solid understanding of Charles Stanley’s services, systems, and platforms, including:
    • Order Routing
    • AS400
    • CRM
    • Outlook, Excel
    • Market information tools

Requirements & Skills

You’ll bring:

  • Strong communication skills, using clear, client-friendly language
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving ability and confidence in making judicious decisions
  • A team-focused mindset with flexibility and collaboration
  • A good understanding of:
    • UK markets (or willingness to learn)
    • ISAs, SIPPs, and investment administration processes
  • Awareness of FCA rules and investment products (training provided)
