Client Services Director
Client Services Director
We’re looking for an experienced Client Services Director to lead, inspire and develop a talented client services team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional brand experience campaigns for some of the world’s most successful brands.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for building strong client relationships, providing strategic and operational direction, and ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest standard — on brief, on time, on budget and with a clear focus on commercial performance.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Client Services and wider agency teams to grow existing accounts, identify new opportunities, improve ways of working and contribute to the continued success of the agency. The role will be based at our Maidenhead office with hybrid working opportunities and requirement for travel to client sites.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and support a team of Account Directors, Senior Account Directors, Account Managers and Account Executives, creating an environment where people can perform at their best.
- Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted partner and providing strategic counsel when required.
- Ensure the delivery of first-class client service across all accounts and projects.
- Oversee campaign delivery to ensure work is completed on brief, on time, within budget and in line with agreed profit expectations.
- Support the growth of existing accounts by identifying opportunities to increase spend and strengthen client partnerships.
- Contribute to new business opportunities and support pitches, tenders and client presentations where required.
- Use data, reporting tools and client feedback to monitor performance, identify efficiencies and improve ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including Creative, Finance, Operations, Staffing and HR to ensure successful project delivery.
- Champion best practice across client servicing, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement.
- Develop, coach and motivate team members, supporting their skills, confidence and career development.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex client or departmental issues, resolving challenges professionally and commercially.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
