About Level
Level is the UK’s leading specialist lender for family law and probate proceedings. Our mission is simple yet profound: We provide fair, transparent finance that helps people navigate some of life’s most challenging moments with more certainty and peace of mind. During legal processes like divorce or probate, assets are often held in one party’s name, which can create an unfair imbalance in representation. So, we’ve built a financing solution that helps solicitors, and their clients cover legal costs and create a level playing field.
We are building a human, high-performing organisation where people feel trusted, valued, and supported to do their best work. Our culture is grounded in clarity, feedback, and impact, and in everyday behaviours that reflect our values:
TEAM FIRST 🫂 We’re stronger together. We move faster and go further when we’re in sync, have each other’s backs, and celebrate wins as a team. CARE DEEPLY 💖 We all step up and own it. Our work, our decisions, our setbacks, and our outcomes – everyone is accountable. ALIGN & ACCELERATE ⏩ We move fast, but we get it right. When we’re aligned and focused, we’re unstoppable. EMBRACE GROWTH 🌱 We don’t do comfort zones. We stay curious, seek feedback, and learn relentlessly because growth never stops. This drives our evolution and performance - as people and as a company.
Our benefits (at a glance)
Our benefits package is designed to support sustainable high performance and wellbeing. At a glance, this includes:
- Competitive salary.
- Pension contributions.
- Private medical cover.
- 25 days of annual leave plus your birthday off.
- Financial support to set up your home office.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
