Client Services Manager
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded and highly organised Client Services Manager to join our team at Launch.
You’ll become the main day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of their experience with Launch from the moment they come on board. Working closely with our Founder, Head of Strategy, Design Director Studio Operations Manager, and Finance Coordinator you’ll ensure projects transition smoothly into the studio, clients remain informed throughout delivery and every relationship continues to grow over time.
This role combines client relationship management, commercial ownership and project coordination. You’ll help clients get the very best from Launch, identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, represent the studio at networking and industry events, and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.

- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Location: Hybrid, inc. 3 days per week at our studio on London Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 1NG

Launch Studio is a creative agency based in the heart of St Albans, Hertfordshire.
We work with our clients to understand their priorities, applying our design, branding and strategic expertise to move their business forward, through long-term relationships that sit naturally alongside their internal teams.
Our work spans everything from branding and websites to sales decks, social content, campaigns and day-to-day design support.

- Salary band £35–45k based on experience

What you'll be doing
These responsibilities combine client relationship management, commercial ownership and project coordination across the studio.
- Build client relationships Become the day-to-day point of contact for your clients, building trusted relationships through clear communication, proactive support and a genuine understanding of their business and objectives.
- Manage new client transitions Take ownership of new opportunities once they enter the studio, ensuring a smooth transition from our Founder and Head of Strategy into delivery, establishing strong client relationships from day one and setting every project up for success.
- Support commercial administration Support quotations, purchase orders, invoicing and payment tracking, ensuring commercial information is recorded accurately and project finances remain organised.
- Manage project coordination Work closely with our Design Director and Studio Operations Manager to scope projects, agree resource, budgets and timelines, before coordinating day-to-day delivery. Keep clients informed, meetings organised, actions tracked and project information up to date, ensuring every project runs smoothly and nothing gets missed.
- Grow existing accounts Become a trusted extension of your clients’ teams, identifying opportunities to introduce additional services, strengthen relationships and grow existing accounts through thoughtful cross-selling, upselling and repeat business.
- Represent Launch Represent Launch confidently at networking events, industry functions and client meetings, building relationships that strengthen our reputation and create future opportunities for the studio.
- Coordinate production & procurement Alongside our Operations Manager, coordinate the sourcing and delivery of printed materials, merchandise, event assets and other physical brand outputs through our trusted supplier network, maintaining quality, timing and commercial awareness throughout.

What you'll bring
We’re looking for someone commercially aware, organised and confident working with clients.
- Experience in client services, account management or project management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop long-term client partnerships.
- An understanding of how branding and design support business growth.
- Commercial awareness, with confidence discussing budgets, scope and opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
- A proactive approach to improving processes that keep projects on track.
- Confidence representing Launch with clients, suppliers and at networking events.
- A collaborative approach, working closely with the wider studio team.
- Good attention to detail across project coordination and commercial administration.
- An understanding of quotations, purchase orders, invoicing and B2B commercial processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication with excellent spelling and grammar.
