Client Services Manager
Ink Digital is looking for a Client Services Manager to join our growing team in Brentwood, Essex.
We’re an SEO-first digital agency built around sprint-based delivery, clear communication, and practical implementation. We work with premium brands and considered purchase businesses across sectors including travel, hospitality, and B2B.
Role Overview
This role sits between the client, Account Managers, delivery teams, and the wider agency. You’ll help make sure communication is clear, work is well planned, actions are followed through, and clients understand the value being delivered.
You’ll support the Client Services Director across account health, sprint progress reports, reporting narrative, stakeholder communication, client feedback, commercial process, HubSpot and Client Hub management, growth opportunities, and escalation where needed.
Role Details
- Location: Brentwood, Essex, hybrid (40 mins from Stratford on Elizabeth line)
- Salary: TBC based on experience
- Reporting to: Client Services Director
- Working pattern: Hybrid, typically 2 days in the office and 3 from home
What you’ll be doing
You’ll help clients have a strong overall experience with Ink Digital by supporting clear communication, organized account management, and proactive client service.
This will include:
- Supporting Account Managers and delivery teams with client agendas, updates, messages, and follow-ups
- Helping make client communication more consistent, proactive, and easy to understand
- Reviewing monthly reports, sprint progress reports, and executive summaries
- Making sure reporting clearly explains performance, ROI, learnings, and next steps
- Supporting client check-ins, feedback processes, and account health reviews
- Keeping HubSpot and Client Hub information accurate and up to date
- Supporting commercial changes such as fee changes, new fees, additional scope, and contract queries
- Helping identify growth opportunities across allocated accounts
- Raising flags early where there are risks, blockers, missed actions, scope creep, or client concerns
- Providing clear updates to the Client Services Director on account health, risks, opportunities, and support needed

What success looks like in the first 90 days
In your first few months, you’ll be expected to:
- Understand Ink Digital’s sprint-based delivery model
- Build a clear view of assigned account health, client objectives, stakeholders, risks, and commercial setup
- Support stronger meeting agendas, sprint progress reports, executive summaries, and reporting narratives
- Keep HubSpot and Client Hub information accurate across key accounts
- Create growth plans for your allocated accounts
- Start supporting commercial process around fee changes, additional scope, and pipeline updates
- Raise account flags early and provide clear updates on risks, opportunities, and support needed
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in client services, account management, customer success, or marketing project management
- A good understanding of digital marketing and how SEO, PPC, content, analytics, and wider activity support business goals
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Confidence managing actions, agendas, follow-ups, and key account information
- The ability to explain performance, activity, and next steps in a clear, client-friendly way
- Good commercial awareness around scope, budgets, time tracking, fee changes, and pipeline visibility
- Confidence working with specialists and translating channel updates into a wider client narrative
- The ability to spot risks, raise flags, and know when to escalate for support
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience working with stakeholders at different levels

Nice to have
These aren’t essential, but would be useful:
- Agency experience
- Experience working across SEO, PPC, content, analytics, or wider digital marketing
- Experience using HubSpot, project management tools, or client account systems
- Experience supporting sprint progress reports, QBRs, workshops, or client feedback processes

Recruitment process
Stage 1: Teams interview covering experience, client approach, communication style, and values.
Stage 2: In-person interview at the Brentwood office, including a client scenario exercise and a discussion around client services support, escalation, and commercial judgement.
