Senior Financial Administrator & Team Manager – Hybrid Working
Salary to £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: Bristol
Are you an experienced Financial Administrator looking to take the next step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on with clients and Financial Planners?
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Administrator to join a highly regarded financial planning firm as a Senior Financial Administrator & Team Manager in their Bristol office.
Our client is a well-established wealth management firm with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality financial planning advice. They're looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Financial Planning and 1 Trainee Financial Planner, as well as mentor and support 1 Junior Administrator. You will also act as the escalation point and support other Junior Administrators, some of which are based in other regional offices.
This is a varied role combining hands-on financial planning administration with team leadership, and suitable for someone who has strong experience within Financial Planning, mentoring junior team members, and looking to take that next step in their career.

The Role:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Planning Director and 1 Trainee Financial Planner.
- Prepare client meeting packs and all associated documentation.
- Arrange client meetings and manage adviser diaries.
- Liaise with clients and providers to progress new and existing business.
- Process Letters of Authority and obtain information from providers.
- Maintain accurate client records using the firm's CRM and workflow systems.
- Manage cases from inception through to completion, ensuring an outstanding client experience.
- Support, coach and develop Junior Administrators.
- Allocate workloads and act as the technical escalation point for the administration team.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA requirements while identifying opportunities to improve processes.
The Person:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Financial Administrator within a Financial Planning/Wealth Management environment.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or coaching junior team members.
- Knowledge of pensions, investments and wider wealth management products.
- Strong knowledge of the Financial Advice process, from initial enquiry through to implementation and ongoing client servicing.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Level 4 Diploma is welcomed but not essential. Full study support is available for those wishing to achieve their Level 4 Diploma.
