Client Solutions Associate (DACH)

Finatal are partnered with a global Private Equity firm (large-cap) looking for an Associate to join their Client Solutions team for the DACH region. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who's fluent in German and English and eager to develop their career in private markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of relationships with a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 institutional clients and strategic regional JV partners across the DACH region, contributing to a high-quality investor experience in close collaboration with regional RMs and senior team members.
- Support RMs in client coverage and business development activities across the DACH institutional market, contributing ideas and insights to support relationship development and prospecting initiatives.
- Produce high-quality materials for external consumption by taking a leading role in the collation and analysis of information produced by internal teams, delivering clear and effective written and verbal communication while seeking guidance from senior stakeholders where appropriate on more complex deliverables.
- Work closely with RMs and the RFP team on client proposals and support RFP and DDQ processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to prospective and existing investors.
- Maintain detailed records of investor activity and pipeline developments to support client relationship management and prospecting initiatives.
- Build effective working relationships across investment, product specialist, legal, compliance, and operations teams to support coordinated client outcomes.
- Manage competing priorities across existing client relationships and prospective investor activity in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the Client Solutions function to enhance efficiency, consistency, and investor experience.
- Contribute positively to the development of junior team members through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support within the team.

Knowledge & Experience Required

- Fluency in German and English is essential.
- Relevant experience within private markets, institutional investor relations, fundraising, client solutions, asset management, or financial services.
- Good understanding of institutional investors and private markets products.
- Experience supporting institutional clients, ideally within the DACH market.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications such as IMC or CAIA are beneficial.
