I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We don't compete with OpenAI or Anthropic — we turn their intelligence into compliant, audit-ready output inside the world's leading financial organisations.
About The Role
You'll sit between the sales lead and the client's technical stakeholders, translating what our AI platform does into language a COO, Head of Operations or CIO can act on. You won't carry a cold-calling quota. Instead, you'll make the sales lead credible in the room: preparing technical materials, running discovery calls, and helping shape the solution before commercial terms are discussed.
Who This Is For
Someone 3-5 years into their career, perhaps a business analyst, junior consultant, or technical graduate, who is technical enough to understand a bank's back-office workflow but genuinely enjoys the client-facing side more than heads-down delivery. You want to learn enterprise sales from the technical angle, not the cold-outreach angle.
What You'll Actually Do
- Partner with the VP of Sales on live opportunities: attend discovery calls, ask the technical questions that matter, and translate requirements back into product terms
- Build tailored demos, capability decks and proof-of-concept materials for Tier-1 bank prospects
- Own the technical narrative in client conversations, covering how the platform fits their existing stack, data governance and compliance posture
- Research target accounts' operational setup so conversations start credible, not generic
- Track technical objections and requirements in CRM, and flag risk before it becomes a lost deal

What You Bring
- 3-5 years in a technical, analyst or delivery-adjacent role, not necessarily "sales", such as business analysis, implementation, technical consulting or product
- Comfortable in a room with COOs and CTOs; you don't need to be told how to hold yourself in front of a client
- Genuine curiosity about financial services operations, with a willingness to learn the domain
- No requirement to cold-prospect; that's the VP's job. This is a "second chair" role, not a hunter role
