Job Purpose
Join the client solution team at Ardian, one of the world’s largest private markets firms.
You will collaborate closely with senior distribution and institutional relations (IR) professionals, gaining hands-on experience across fundraising, client servicing, and the full client lifecycle for both institutional and private clients. Your role will focus on investor acquisition and retention, acting as a key point of contact for LP queries while developing an in-depth understanding of sophisticated private markets investors.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Query Management
- Manage and prioritise LP query pipelines for existing investors in the UK & Ireland, ensuring fast, accurate, and high-quality responses that meet Ardian’s service standards.
- Coordinate with senior team members and cross-functional global teams to resolve queries efficiently.

Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and update marketing & data room materials, cash flow projections, performance presentations, and fund performance reports.
- Conduct fund benchmarking and competitive analysis.
- Draft investor meeting notes (quarterly updates).
Sales & Due Diligence Support
- Assist in sales enablement, including quantitative analyses, modelling, and drafting due-diligence questionnaire responses.
- Support ad-hoc fundraising, distribution, and reporting initiatives.
Business & Technical Adherence
Work within Ardian’s specialised knowledge framework, including: ✔ Technical Skills
- Demonstrable numerical aptitude.
- Foundational understanding of accounting, financial modelling, and private markets (Private Equity, Secondaries, Infrastructure, Private Credit, Evergreen Funds).
- Strong data analysis capabilities to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint (automation/coding skills highly valued).
- Familiarity with private markets fund structures, performance metrics, and investor reporting.

- Exceptional attention to detail—proven ability to produce client-ready materials to a high standard.
- Driven, ambitious, and passionate about private markets and investor relations.
- Ability to manage a high-pressure workload with strong prioritisation and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a sharp commercial acumen.
- Collaborative and self-directed, capable of coordinating across functions and geographies while owning own projects.
- High intellectual curiosity with ability to navigate diverse business domains.
Required Education & Experience
- A university degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, economics, mathematics, physics, or engineering).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in finance, asset management, institutional relations, or private markets, preferred but not essential for numerate graduates from East-India, elite business schools or degree holders who have built real-world experience via internships/workplacements at top ARMs, private equity funds or corporates.

Communication Scope
Internal
Daily engagement with:
- Managing Director & Analysts in the London Client Solutions team.
- UK IR Team (sales, consultancy engagement, product specialists, coordination). Plus:
- Fund Finance, Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams.
External
Engagement with:
- Investors, intermediaries, data provider platforms, and fund administrators.
