We're looking for a Client Support Executive to join our growing Financial Planning team. This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative, high-performing team that supports advisers and clients throughout the financial planning journey.
You'll work within a cross-functional team ("Pod") alongside Financial Planners, Paraplanners and fellow Client Support Executives, helping to deliver an exceptional client experience while supporting the continued growth of the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service and wants to build a long-term career within financial services.
What you'll do
Client Support
- Support Financial Planners with the preparation and delivery of client meetings, both virtual and face-to-face.
- Prepare meeting packs, annual review reports, risk questionnaires and client documentation.
- Act as a key contact for clients on administrative matters.
- Deliver a professional and responsive service to clients throughout their journey.
- Support new client onboarding, including welcome packs, portal access and compliance checks.
Administration
- Process applications and maintain accurate records within our Enable CRM system.
- Monitor applications, transfers and provider communications to keep cases progressing.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and providers.
- Produce client review reports using internal systems.
- Process adviser charging instructions and fee administration activities.
- Validate investments and valuations for accuracy.
- Handle incoming post and distribute information appropriately.
- Respond to inbound telephone enquiries.
- Prepare and send letters of authority to providers and ceding schemes.
- Support office administration activities where required.

Compliance & Documentation
- Complete electronic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
- Manage documentation for new business submissions and asset transfers.
- Maintain accurate records in line with FCA requirements and internal policies.
- Help keep client files audit-ready at all times.
Financial Planning Support
- Gather information, quotations, illustrations and product research.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining cashflow planning data.
- Compile client information to support recommendation reports.
- Produce standard suitability reports, fund switches, top-ups and review communications.
- Prepare costs and charges disclosures using FE Analytics.
- Maintain accurate client records and data integrity.
Communication
- Work closely with Financial Planners and Paraplanners to maintain complete client records.
- Manage electronic signatures via Adobe Sign.
- Respond promptly to client and provider enquiries.
- Provide proactive progress updates to clients throughout the advice process.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in financial services, wealth management, financial planning or a client support/administration role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of FCA regulation and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
- An interest in financial planning and wealth management.
- Progress towards, or a desire to complete, the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

The base
You'll be based at our Midlands office, in Stratford Upon Avon supporting a team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners serving clients across the region. The office provides a collaborative working environment where you'll work closely with colleagues while benefiting from the support, scale and technology of the wider Benchmark business.
