Client Support Executive (FTC)
Job Title: Client Support Executive (Business) Contract: 12 month contract Salary: £26,520 - £28,000 per annum Hours per week: 35 hours Location: At IOSH, we encourage hybrid working because we believe it's the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. So this role can be worked on a hybrid basis where you’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home. We are also open to candidates being remote based with occasional travel to our Head Office. The successful applicant must have the pre-existing right to both live, and to work in the UK. Closing date: 02 June 2026 Interview date: w/c 8 June 2026 About the role We’re seeking a confident, ambitious individual to join our dynamic team that is driving a safe and healthy world of work globally on a fixed term contract. As a Client Support Executive (Business), you’ll play a pivotal role in building long-term, strategic partnerships with global organisations, supporting them to deliver their strategic objectives, and increasing IOSH’s commercial growth. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining lasting client relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with our Client Relationship Managers, helping to onboard new customers and support them to deliver key strategic initiatives that maximise both commercial and strategic value. You will predominantly be on the phone making calls to secure sales but it may require some national travel. What you'll bring You will be a confident communicator, whether on outbound calls or managing inbound enquiries, who enjoys speaking with potential new providers and be confident in securing sales with them. You will be a target-driven sales professional with a proven track record of building credible, strategic level relationships with clients. You will be able to learn and understand the customers needs and buying process, identifying opportunities to support the IOSH for Business commercial success. Your experience will help you be the voice of the customer internally, working cross-functionally to ensure the alignment of resources to support the delivery of the IOSH for Business Strategy. Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body is desirable. Essential criteria A good understanding of customer relations and practices. Experience of generating and developing leads. A good understanding of the customer relationship management process and the importance of building relationships. A working knowledge of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ideally D365. What's in it for you?
